  • The further adjustment of the daily dose varies depending on the health of the patient

  • Accutane is used once per day, after meals

  • The average length of the acne treatment is 3-5 months. Do not take Accutane longer because the risk of the side effects grows.

If the needed results are not achieved within 5 months, the second course of the treatment can be started in 3 months after the use of the last pill of Accutane.

Pharmacological safety of Accutane

Accutane is for sale by the prescription in most countries because the risk of the side effects is high during the medical therapy.

Girls of the reproductive age should be highly cautious. The prolonged uncontrolled use of Accutane can cause severe side effects. Accutane is strictly contraindicated women during pregnancy and lactation. If you decided to have a child, stop taking Accutane at least 6 months before the planned impregnation.
